Gritstone Financial Planning was founded by Stephen in 2016 after a 30-year career in banking technology at HSBC and Lloyds Banking Group. Driven by a desire to offer more thoughtful, people-first advice, he became double diploma qualified and, in 2025, was awarded Chartered Financial Adviser status.

Since those early days working from home, we’ve grown into a small, committed team based in the heart of Park Hill, Sheffield. Kieran joined in 2020 and now plays a key role in client support, while Jack, who first came on board part-time in 2024, became a full-time team member in August 2025 following his graduation from the University of Sheffield.
